Job Title: Student Video & Social Media Assistant
Description:
CSRPC needs to hire a student assistant, grad or undergrad, to assist with
various media projects, outreach, publicity and administrative support. The
position begins immediately and lasts through the remainder of the
academic year. The position is for up to 10 hrs/ week undergrad students
and 15 hrs/week for graduate students, with some evening and weekend
hours required. Occasional attendance at off campus Center events is also
required.
Tasks:
-Create and istribute flyers & posters physically & virtually
-Maintain and upgrade the Center's social media sites including but not limited to
Facebook, Twitter, Linked In
-Assist in updating Center's website
-Create & distribute the Center's weekly event e-blast (InDesign template)
-Assist with the production & editing of the Center s quarterly newsletter (print &
electronic versions-InDesign template)
Employer: SSD/Ctr for the Studies of Race, Politics & Culture
Qualifications:
Basic video editing (knowledge of Final Cut Pro or
iMovie required). Knowledge of Photoshop, In
Design preferred. Working familiarity with 3CCD prosumer video camera
required.
