2022-2023 Fellowships and Funding Opportunities for Ph.D. Students

The Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture invites Ph.D. students working on topics of race and/or ethnicity to apply for the 2022-2023 fellowships and research grants.
Applications are due March 28.
Students may apply to more than one fellowship through the application, but will only be eligible to receive one.
- CSRPC Dissertation Completion Fellowship
$32,000 stipend for the academic year, a $1,000 travel and research budget, tuition/fees, office space at the CenterAwarded to one Ph.D. candidate (who began in their program before Autumn 2016) working on a dissertation on the topic of race/ethnicity.
- CSRPC/CSGS Joint Dissertation Completion Fellowship
$32,000 stipend for the academic year, a $1,000 travel and research budget, tuition/fees, office space at the CenterAwarded to one Ph.D. candidate (who began in their program before Autumn 2016) working on a dissertation at the intersection of the topics of race/ethnicity and gender and/or sexuality
- CSRPC Residential Fellowship
$1,000 travel and research budget, office space at the CenterAwarded to one or more Ph.D. candidates (at any stage of their program) working on the topic of race/ethnicity
- CSRPC/CSGS Joint Residential Fellowship
$1,000 travel and research budget, office space at the CenterAwarded to one Ph.D. candidate (at any stage of their program) working in the intersection of the topics of race/ethnicity and gender and/or sexuality.

- CSRPC Travel/Research Grants
Applications are due March 28, recommendation letters due April 4
Up to $2,500 of funding for travel/research for a Ph.D. student whose project is on the topic of race/ethnicity. Funds to be used during 2022-2023 and can be issued as reimbursements, travel advances, or CSPRC can pay the vendor directly (or any combination of the above)
