Reimagining The University: Race & Freedoms
This year, The Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture (CSRPC) launched a new mission and vision and along with that Reimagining the University: Race and Freedom, calling for events or projects that support, explore its importance to our campus and community, and instigate on-going public dialogue on the themes relating to our new mission and vision below.
Proposals were requested from faculty, other academic appointees, postdoctoral scholars, staff, undergraduate and graduate students to consider contexts both inside and outside of University spaces, and include engagement with various communities, teaching, research, artistic production, knowledge creation, institutional or social practice, among others formats. Awardess and titles of their projects are listed below.
CSRPC will host a convening on Reimagining the University: Race and Freedom in October 2023, and funded projects will be considered for inclusion.
