Taylor Pate
Taylor Pate , CSRPC Programming Assistant
Taylor Pate (they/she) is a 2nd year undergraduate student who is currently majoring in Comparative Human Development and minoring in Education and Society and Race, Diaspora, and Indigeneity. Hailing from the Southside of Chicago and growing up in the Chicago Public Schools system, Taylor hopes she can work to make change for the better for Black and Brown CPS students. They are also extremely passionate about literary and visual arts and aim to incorporate that into everything they do.
Taylor is also extremely involved in affinity spaces on campus, such as the organizations The Organization of Black Students, acting as Political Chair, and The Organization of LGBTQ+ Students, acting as Media and Design Chair. She is also a part of CARE (Careers, Advocacy, and Research in Education) and has also worked with the Center of Identity + Inclusion. But what makes CSRPC so special to her is having a safe space to have important discussions and to work and thrive amongst welcoming faces.
